Lithuanian Frame Running Sport Association (LTSA) started its activity in 2018. It is an independent Lithuanian sport organization, which promotes, develops and coordinates physical activity and sport with tricycles for disabled in Lithuania.
Frame Running is an innovative, stand-alone sport for disabled people that combines running and cycling. The tricycle is specially designed for people with cerebral palsy, which allows the disabled person to move around without the need for help.
The tricycle also allows disabled people with disabilities to participate in the competition. It allows movement using only its own power, and its speed of development depends on the physical fitness of the disabled person.
To promote Frame Running sport in Lithuania. To develop this activity in close cooperation with institutions and organizations, sports clubs and schools for disabled, with municipalities and with the Departament for the Affairs of the Disabled under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour. To raise the interest of children, young people and adults in Frame Running. To support disabled to discover new opportunities for positive integration into active social life.
To organize high sportsmanship sport events: Frame Running competitions and championships in Lithuanian, to attend in international Frame Running sport competitions, sport camps, coacher-training courses, etc. To provide the best conditions for both athletes and amateurs to practice with tricycle.
To search and invite talented athletes for active training with tricycle and to prepare themselves to represent Lithuania in Frame Running sport championships and sports events.
To develop close cooperation with international sport organizations for disabled.
